Our activities are play-based with the emphasis on learning through play. We provide a rich activity-centered environment in which children can engage in spontaneous play. We have a strong tradition of excellent craft which links with the themes being explored in sessions.
Ladybirds at Home
We organise various groups and individuals to visit us such as the local Firefighters, police officer, naturalist, midwife, nurse.
Out and About
The children regularly enjoy walks to the local Royston wood, trips to local farms, the zoo, and many other locations.
Forest School
Emma Appleby is a fully qualified Forest School Teacher and therefore Ladybirds has lots of Forest School Sessions.
Music and Movement
We have our very own piano at Ladybirds and Natasha is very good at playing therefore we enjoy a wide variety of music and movement throughout our week.
