How time flies when you’re having fun! It’s hard to believe we’re in the final week before half-term (don’t forget our last day is Thursday 20th October) but what a lot we’ve done.
Themes this term have included: Harvest; making delicious vegetable soup
corn dollies
and basket pictures with some intricate weaving techniques
Autumn: including a walk to Royston Woods where the children found leaves and twigs to make a clay hedgehog with. They also sprinkled bluebell seeds and native woodland flower seeds so expect a colourful show next year (or the year after!)
And Hedgehogs including a visit from Suffolk Hedgehog Rescue. A big thank you to Paula Baker for bringing her little rescues for the children to see.

Still to come next week: Diwali – expect some beautiful tea lights to come home.
Thank you for sending in items for our ‘Sounds of the Week’ which have been “s” “a” “t” and “i” – can you work out which objects and activities relate to the sounds?
The children are loving Amy’s phonics activities!
Vets and pets have been popular requests “From The Shed” this half term – poor Zebra has been very unwell – and so have the grown ups!
Indoor activities always on offer include puzzles, books, ICT, Donna’s fantastic craft, and music & movement – here are just a few photos of what’s been happening:
As we’ve had such wonderful Autumn sunshine, we’re still playing outside in our garden, which is evolving every week and looking amazing.
But – remember that torrential rain? We enjoyed that as well!
