Wow- what a rollercoaster this week has been. We’ve had tears of laughter – and the other kind as well. We’ve said ‘Farewell’ to our big School Leavers, and ‘See you in September’ to our soon to be Senior Pre-schoolers.
Ladybirds Choir performed the ‘We All Go Travelling By song’ to the Mums and Dads: they have practiced and practiced and practiced this song with Amy guiding and conducting them, and Donna creating the props – what fantastic talent and courage they had performing in front of an audience – us grown-ups were more than a little nervous ourselves! But the children were spectacular, singing their hearts out and doing the actions of the yellow school bus, bright red truck, shiny pink bike etc. What stars they are.
The children moving up are more than ready for their next challenge, and those remaining with us are fully prepared and able to take on the role of ‘seniors’.
