We’ve certainly been making the most of the weather over the past few weeks and our themes of Autumn, Harvest and Elmer have been enjoyed inside and out!
The dinosaurs are coming!
Thank you to our visitors Lesley Collin, who came in to show us how to make corn dollies and lavender bags, and Rev. Val Armstrong, who read a lovely story about Squeak the Mouse and his favourite food – berries!
Letters of the week have ranged from I to K, and the children have shown us igloos, insects, jam, jelly, juice, kangaroos and keys.

And an old favourite – Elmer – reappeared in September – we hope the grey models have finally dried! We’ve had a lot of fun comparing Elmer with Wilbur, mixing colours, and talking about friendship. We could have spent 6 weeks with Elmer but we’ve got loads more to fit in before the tinsel comes out…..!
Next week it’s Superhero week – our first time with this theme but definitely child-led.
